Consultation

When you book a consultation at The One Clinic, we take the time to listen to your concerns and discuss what we can do to help. As our team of medical professionals are specialists in their own area, we have a range of expertise at our disposal. This way we can quickly access the relevant advice and recommendations regarding each patient’s care, ensuring we are providing the best service possible.

Once we have identified the patient’s concerns and have established which treatment is best, we’ll devise a suitable treatment plan. The plans we put together are personal to the individual patient, and can form part of a long-term or targeted strategy, especially when a series of concerns are raised. We give full explanations of the proposed treatment(s), ensuring the patient understands how the treatment is performed, and what risks may be involved. Treatment may be booked on the same day as the consultation, or the patient may take some to consider the options put before them. Treatment will only commence when both patient and doctor are sure.

Your Treatment

As a doctor-led clinic, all treatments and personalised plans are overseen by our doctors, and we will liaise with other doctors and surgeons outside of the clinic if necessary. Tailoring your treatment plan means that we recognise patients can respond differently to the same treatment. We ensure that whatever recommendation we make, we’ve considered the realistic results that can be produced.

On treatment day, you’ll come to The One Clinic where you’ll be shown to one of our treatment rooms. Here you’ll be met by your doctor who’ll need to have your written consent before going ahead. Treatment begins when the patient is comfortable and ready to proceed. Our doctors take great care with each and every procedure, they ensure the patient is fully informed throughout, talking through every stage of the treatment.

Patients can leave the clinic when they are comfortable to do so, and any further appointment will be made at reception.

Your Aftercare

Aftercare

Aftercare is equally as important as the consultation and the treatment itself.

Our doctors make sure that with each treatment, patients are given suitable aftercare advice to help enable the best possible outcome. This advice may suggest the most appropriate way to alleviate any side effects, or what not to do to compromise the way the treatment works. Just like the treatment, aftercare advice is tailored to the individual. The doctor’s suggestions will be suitable for the treatment the patient has had, as well as taking into account the way each patient is expected to respond.

It is The One Clinic’s policy to ensure that in the days that follow, the patient has been contacted to make sure they are feeling happy and well.
